What can I say you guys did a outstanding job with everything I can’t express enough how thankful I was with the effort that everyone put in at The Water Rat starting with the staff being ever so friendly and courteous and I also wished the night never came to an end! The food was cooked to perfection, the salads where fresh and the bread was to die for!

I have eaten at many places around the world and both my parents are retired Chefs and I’ve always said the it’s the overall experience...... in other words going out for dinner is not always about the food it’s also about the service, in this instance The Water Rat has ticked all the boxes.

Thanks again so much for your efforts the service at The Water Rat was and is outstanding.

Hi Lia,

 

I just wanted to thank you and the staff at the Water Rat for all your hard work on Friday. Everyone is still talking about it throughout the office this morning and i keep hearing things like, the food was superb!, the staff were so lovely and the venue was fantastic, it was such a good night.

So please pass on our thanks to the chef and to all the staff working that night- it truly was our best Christmas party in many, many years.

I would like to thank you for the wonderful service you and your staff provided on Sunday it was a perfect day. Many of our guests have mentioned how wonderful the venue, food, attention eg. drink waiters at the top of the stairs.

Once again i would not hesitate to recommend your venue, you have surpassed my other favourite South Melbourne vunue xxx.

I was going to email you but you beat me to it! Mick and I would like to thank you, Jane, Polly and all the staff at The Water Rat Hotel for helping to make our evening a success.

 

Everything was excellent, the room suited our purposes perfectly. Mick mentioned your award- winning restaurant and we, along with several others, enjoyed a fabulous dinner after the event.

 

We will definitely use your premises again.
